At Albany PAL, we believe every child has the potential to succeed—on and off the field. In line with our mission to foster positive relationships between youth, law enforcement, and the community, our sports programs are designed to empower children of all skill levels. We recognize that each participant brings unique talents and goals, and we’re committed to providing a safe, supportive environment where every child can grow, learn, and thrive. Whether just starting out or building on advanced skills, our thoughtfully structured programs offer age- and ability-appropriate instruction to help kids reach their personal best—while promoting teamwork, confidence, and, above all, enjoyment.

Track & Field
The Albany Police Athletic League (PAL) offers a free, co-ed Track & Field Club designed to engage youth in track while fostering community connections. The program is for ages 5-12 years and runs every Tuesday & Thursday from June 10th through August 12th, 5:30pm – 7:15 pm. Location: Albany High School Track, 700 Washington Avenue, Albany NY.

The Albany Police Athletic League (PAL) offers a free Sandlot Baseball Program designed to engage youth in baseball while fostering community connections. The program runs every Monday (ages 8-12) & Wednesday (ages 4-7) from July 7th through August 18th, 6:15pm – 7:30 pm. Located at 95 Krank Street, Albany NY.

The Albany Police Athletic League (PAL) offers a free, co-ed Flag Football Program designed to engage youth in football while fostering community connections. The program is for ages 6-12 years and runs every Monday & Wednesday from July 7th through August 20th, 5:30pm – 7:00 pm. Located at 95 Krank Street, Albany NY.

Step Up, Make a Difference — Volunteer with Albany PAL!
The Albany Police Athletic League (PAL) is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help coach and support our youth sports and activity programs. Whether you have experience as a coach, love working with kids, or simply want to give back to the community, there’s a place for you on our team.
Our volunteers assist with practices, games, and events — always under the supervision of our trained PAL coordinators and staff. No prior coaching experience is required — just a positive attitude, willingness to help, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of Albany’s young people.
